Trump supporters were shocked the other day when radio talk show host Michael Savage told his listeners that he only wanted to discuss Ted. What happened? Savage was one of Trump's most ardent supporters, and now his show is suddenly all about Ted? Despite his love for Donald Trump, he made it clear to his audience that he really loved Ted more. It all became crystal clear when he explained that the 'Ted' he was referring to was Ted Savage, not Ted Cruz.
Who is Ted Savage?
Teddy (as he is affectionately known) is Savage's poodle, and the center of his latest book, Teddy And Me: Confessions Of A Service Human. Of all of the Savage books I have read, this one was the most unexpected, and caught me more than a bit off guard. No, Teddy does not take on the bad guys like Jack Hatfield (the protagonist in Savage's recent fictional book series), but shares with us a glimpse into his amazingly pampered life.
Paging through this beautiful book you will see pictures of Teddy being chauffeured around town, going out to dinner, and even helping make a wine selection. It is a love story between a man and his dog, but is this the same Michael Savage that tears liberal callers to shreds more quickly than a wood chipper? Not even Bruce Wayne has such a stark contrast with his alter ego.
I love dogs, but hold no candle to the bond that exists between Savage and Teddy. In fact, I have gone to great lengths to hide my copy of Teddy And Me from my own two dogs. If they saw any of these pictures, they would demand similar treatment. A couple of times per month my dogs get to ride in my jeep to the Wendy's drive-through where they split a $1 hamburger. This would clearly be considered animal abuse compared to the life of Teddy. My dogs don't know how bad they have it - and I intend to keep it that way.

Liberals Be Warned
For those love to hate Michael Savage, don't buy this book (don't even dare to page through it). If you love dogs, you will simply love this book (and maybe even end up of liking Savage too). Who knows, England may even lift their ban on Savage after seeing some of these pictures (or at least let him through customs if he brings Teddy along). The book has a little something for everyone, even homosexuals will be inspired by Savage's sense of fashion and large wardrobe of hats.
Conspiracy Theories Already Being Spun
Rather than using his legal name (Rafael) in the presidential primaries, Senator Cruz went by the nickname Ted. Did he know that the book about Teddy Savage would be released just five months before the election? Could he have planned to take advantage of the anticipated popularity of the name Ted? We simply don't know, but believe that this is much more than a coincidence. One thing is clear: even if he had made it to the White House, Ted would have never lived as well as Teddy.
