Store Shelves Wiped Clean in Anticipation of “Jonas”

Here we go again. Another natural “disaster” of relatively modest proportions, and yet signs of panic quickly set in. While no one is doubting the potential of Winter Storm “Jonas” to prove highly problematic…even deadly…for some this weekend, a weather event such as this is generally not regarded by preppers as something that results in the lasting, highly-distressed conditions for which they typically prepare. That said, as “regular” people go into panic mode, and race down to the area grocery stores and gas stations to fill up on as much food and gas as they can carry, others who were not so inspired may well find themselves facing what is essentially a man-made disaster as a result of the behavior of many of those around them.

The problem is that what results, for too many, are distressed conditions, of a kind; if you were one who is not in panic mode…treating the snowstorm like an average snowstorm, more or less…and thought you’d fill the tank and pick up some extra “munchies” this morning, you might well find yourself without access to even basic supplies of any kind. Furthermore, if the snowfall does prove to be worse than expected, and area officials forbid any travel (other than that by emergency vehicles), it is possible that some may find themselves, relatively quickly, in genuinely distressed conditions.

This is how, very often, survival-type conditions set in; not because of some long-expected, global apocalypse, but, rather, due to dangerous, even violent, weather events that, through a combination of factors…including the frantic, sometimes-irrational behavior of those around you…leave you and your family without even basic supplies in the midst of what is supposed to be the land of plenty. It can absolutely happen.

In light of this weekend’s events, I want to mention again a great survival information product called Get Prepped in 1 Trip to Walmart. It is a terrific package for those who want to make the stockpiling of essential survival supplies as quick and painless as possible. Make no mistake, however; this is not just some glorified checklist (although the several supplies lists provided are excellent resources, and go a long way to helping one to more quickly and efficiently obtain what he or she needs). The Get Prepped in 1 Trip to Walmart package contains a wealth of actionable information on how to be prepared for the next disaster. In just one afternoon, you and your family members can emerge from your local superstore with everything you need to be ready for the next disaster that comes your way; prepping does not get much easier than that!

If Winter Storm Jonas is upon you, a trip to Walmart may not be available to you this weekend, but for the rest of us…and for you, once you (hopefully) emerge from this weekend relatively unscathed…a survival-oriented shopping trip to your local superstore should rise to the top of your list of priorities. If you like the idea of being able to grab in just one afternoon all of what you’ll ever likely need to withstand even a relatively severe crisis, then Get Prepped in 1 Trip to Walmart may be just the ticket. Note, too, that as with practically every product we suggest in this space, this package comes with a 60-day, money-back guarantee, so that if you decide it’s not for you, no problem; it’s super-easy to get a full refund.
