Write Amazon Reviews - Get 80% To 100% Off Purchases
Reviews have now become the lifeblood of online selling. The problem is that just a tiny fraction of customers will take the time to write a review. I have to admit that I don't write reviews very often myself (I simply have too many other things in my day to get to). A website by the name of Snagshout has come up with an ingenious idea - offer people incredible discounts in exchange for writing reviews.
Here is how it works. Simply go to their site and take a look at the wide variety of products listed (and the huge discounts) and select an item you want to buy. You will then be given a special promotional code to use at Amazon.com to make your purchase. The only catch is that you won't be able to grab another deal like this until after you receive the item and you write a review. The review does not necessarily have to be positive, and you must disclose that you received a discount in exchange for writing it.
This morning I tested it out and bought a flashlight that goes for $59.95 on Amazon for only $4.95. What was even more interesting was that my Amazon Prime kicked in and I also got the free shipping!
As far as I know there is not a limit to the number of times you can do this, you must write your review for each item before you can grab another deal - Check out the FAQ
Update: Today is Sunday and I just got home from church to find a package waiting for me at my front door. My flashlight had arrived! It comes with two rechargeable batteries, a charger, and a bonus solar keychain light as well. This may be the nicest flashlight I have ever owned - all for $5. So, now I have to run over to Amazon and write my review and then back to Snagshout for another discounted item...
Update August 8: I have picked up two more items writing reviews- a solar powered lantern/bug zapper at 80% off (savings of $40) and also some tea tree foot oil for $1 (normally $14.95).
Update March 1, 2016. I have now done about 20 reviews and have gotten a wide variety of items, from survival gear to electronics, to a lot of vitamins and supplements.
One trick that I just discovered is to use the sorting button from the left sidebar to sort products by price. This will list all of the free and $1 items first. A lot of the freebies and $1 items are supplements/health products, and are fantastic deals. I would still recommend, however, spending an equal amount of time sorting by most popular items. Some of these deals might cost you $5 or $10 out of pocket, but you might realize a savings of $25 or more off retail. I have my eye on a flashlight stun-gun for $2 for my next review.
