Amazing Labor Day Deals Listed All On One Website

Labor Day is the “last hurrah” weekend of the summer, and plenty of people will be taking advantage of the three-day weekend to enjoy one final chunk of vacation time before school resumes in earnest. However, for those not planning to do anything special over Labor Day weekend…or for those seeking a brief respite from visiting in-laws…there’s always the opportunity to do some serious shopping and take advantage of tremendous bargains. Labor Day weekend is usually a source of tremendous deals, as retailers see it as the perfect time to liquidate merchandise they’ve been carrying throughout the year in order to make room for new products and fashions that arrive in anticipation of the Christmas holiday season.

The “deal” aggregating site Offers.com is featuring a bunch of well-known stores and their Labor Day weekend discounts throughout the next few days. Their list of the best stores at which to shop this Labor Day weekend (either in-person or online) includes names like Best Buy (up to 30% off major appliances and HDTVs), Sears (40% or more off of appliances, as well as substantial discounts on a wide variety of other items), Macy’s (savings of 20% to 50% on a bunch of goods throughout the store), J.C. Penney (30% to 50% off home furnishings, among discounts on other items), and Nordstrom (up to 40% off throughout the store), among many, many others. Plenty of online-only retailers are featuring terrific deals this weekend, as well, including Overstock, Amazon, Newegg, Orbitz, and Hotels.com. Again, you can visit Offers.com for an overview of their list of the stores with the best deals this Labor Day, as well as for access to the deals themselves, or you can go directly to the proprietary sites of the listed stores for more information.

One thing: Some of these stores are ending their deals, or some portion of the deals, at the conclusion of the day on Saturday, August 30. Of course, that’s not the conclusion of Labor Day weekend, so it would be a good idea to do your reconnaissance as soon as possible, to be sure you don’t miss out on discounts off of the items you really want.
